NASA's Space Shuttle Discovery, "which has completed 37 missions into space and 5,247 orbits," has been sold to the Smithsonian Institution's National Air and Space Museum for a hefty $28.2-million. Since the shuttle's engines will not be required in a museum environment, they are offering them for free, as long as you have the means of transportation.
