NEC LCD1990UXi-M 19" LCD Monitor

Designed for professional use (medical), the LCD1990UXi-M features "MURACOMP" technology for optimum brightness, gamma, and color. This display offers 1280 x 1024 SXGA resolution, 600:1 contrast ratio, 270 cd/m2 brightness, 9ms response time, and a 178-degree viewing angle. It measures 402.3 x 247.3 x 410.7 - 560.7mm and weighs 19.8-pounds. Available July 31st in Japan, at the price of $988USD. [via NEC-Display]

WTF!!! There was just a review yesturday of the LCD2190UXi-M 21.3″ LCD Monitor... WHICH IS THE EXACT SAME MONITOR IN 21" !!! Who is in charge of TechEblog now!? are the original people all in separate comas ? For $900 this is a POS monitor!! A F**KING RIPOFF! It has special brightness crap because its only 270nit and thats NOT bright! How is a 1280 / 270nit / 9ms expensive monitor a peice of TechNews !?

This is a POS for $1000 It needs brightness technology since is only a pathetic 270nit ! Who thinks this is tech news ? Maybe in 2001
