BMW Vision Next 100 Concept

New images of the futuristic BMW Vision Next 100 concept have surfaced. Taking an Alive Geometry approach, it features two modes: “Ease” retracts the steering wheel and adjusts the seats so it’s easier to interact with others in the car, while “Boost” mode uses the windshield to overlay information like optimal driving lines, steering points, and speeds. The exterior boasts series of triangular shape-shifting “scales” that stretches to accommodate the turning of the faired in wheels, improving aerodynamics. “Our objective with the BMW VISION NEXT 100 was to develop a future scenario that people would engage with. Technology is going to make significant advances, opening up fantastic new possibilities that will allow us to offer the driver even more assistance for an even more intense driving experience,” said Adrian van Hooydonk, Head of BMW Group Design.
