JJ Abrams has just posted a new video straight from the Star Wars Episode VII movie set, and it shows off the redesigned X-Wing Fighter. These 45 leaked photos from the Abu Dhabi set showed an incomplete Millennium Falcon, along with a vehicle that appears to be a Z-95 Headhunter, “a forerunner of the Incom-designed X-Wing that has appeared in Star Wars video games,” according to The Verge. Set approximately thirty years after Return of the Jedi and the demise of Darth Vader, the plot centers around a trio of young leads, along with characters from the previous installments. Second-unit filming began in April 2014 in Abu Dhabi and Iceland, with principal photography beginning on May 16, 2014, in Abu Dhabi, and will be primarily based at Pinewood Studios in Iver Heath, Buckinghamshire, UK. The film is scheduled for release on December 18, 2015.
