Nintendo has confirmed the availabiity of its DS MP3 player add-on. Load up your favorite songs on SD cards and personalize the player with different skins. Expect to shell out $38 for this accessory when it's released.
The SD card-based player is fairly well self-contained, mainly leeching off of the DS for controls and power -- it even has its own headphone port -- but that means it can also work with the less-powerful Game Boy Advance/Advance SP/Micro lineup, which is always a plus. Sound can at least be routed through the DS' headphones and speakers

I'm with Bob. I not only have mp3s on my DS, but games, movies, books, and pictures. Movie Player / m3 adapter is the reason I got back into portable gaming.

Oh, and MierdaBoy, I would say that Nintendo doesn't quite suck. In case you somehow missed the events that have unfolded over the past month, Nintendo happens to be doing pretty well. In fact, they almost seem to be poised to become the king of the video game industry again. Between the DS and the Wii, they are back with a vengeance.
