Okay - I admit to giving out a huge distressed cry when it was announced that the cool name of Nintendo Revelotion was changed to Nintendo Wii. However, this bit of video (very Apply-esque in my opinion) calmed me quite a bit. It really captured the fun aspect of why the neame was changed. Still Revolution is a very cool name for a gaming machine.

Hate to break it to the Nintendo bashing people, but Nintento came out with the second home gaming machine. They sparked a revolution and they can pull it off again, if they don't screw up like they did with the game cube.

wii still aren't amused, but nintendo does need to buy the rights to that song so they can use it in all their commercials. nothing says product like a song almost everybody has heard that is catchy like leeches

Adam, Nintendo fails at life huh? They invented the D-pad, the rumble controller, 1st good wireless controller, and pretty much made the video game industry what it is today. They're hands down the most innovative video game company of the 3. The DS is a prime example of Nintendo's innovative thinking. Now the Wii's controller. We should all pray that this company stays around for a long time.

Looks very VERY cool. I could care less about polygon fill if the game sucks ass. Which 95% of xbox/ps2 games DO suck.

nintendo... it doesn't if its name is revolution or wii, the console will still suck against sony. And I used to be a nintendo fan...

Surprised at the fanboy turnout! Anyways, here's just a quick summation for all of you, yep, Nintendo did indeed define the console market, set it's foundation, and lead periphral design. Also yes, the end of the N64 and the whole gamecube era were disgusting, and basically knocked them off their pedestal. No, this is not quite copyright infringement because if you took the time to read you'd know this is a fan made video. lastly, for my intelligent macintosh mac friend, you know about as much about computers (cough mac user) as you do about console and trolling. just relax, and I'm sure someone will do your fan boy ranting for you.
