Thanks to a carbon fiber chassis that weighs 70% less than steel,the Nio EP9 Electric Supercar is now the world’s fastest, complete with a powertrain delivering one megawatt of power to the wheels, or 1,342-horsepower. It also comes equipped with four individual gearboxes and massive, enabling it to go from 0-124 mph in a mere 7.1-seconds, while topping out at 195 mph. To keep the chassis planted, a three-position active wing system gives the EP9 twice the downforce of an F1 car. Inside, you’re greeted with an all-digital cockpit comprised of multiple screens to keep technical info available at a glance. The company recently took the vehicle to Nurburgring in Germany, where it posted an EV record-setting lap of just 7 minutes and 05.12 seconds.
