When DJI Phantom 4 Drone meets rescue vehicle, you get the futuristic Nissan Navara EnGuard Concept. Unlike the standard Navara, this concept features a prototype portable battery pack comprised of seven 2kW EV modules inside a weather-proof machined aluminum housing. When docked in place, these are in constant ‘charge’ mode, harvesting power generated by its 187-horsepower, twin-turbo 2.3L, essentially making it an alternative to a petrol generator. The drone has an operating ceiling of 19,685-feet and has the ability to fly at speeds up to 20m per second, for close to 30 minutes, while sending live footage back to the car’s pop-up display hidden in the load bed wall.
