Official Renderings of iPod-inspired Building

Archpartners has unveiled what it claims are the official renderings of iPad, an iPod-inspired building that Omniyat Properties is planning to build in Dubai. What are your thoughts?
We'd just like to take this chance to remind Omniyat Properties to get it done fast -- you're up against a dude named Crazy John in the race to build the world's largest monument to consumer electronics nerdom

im about 200 feet from where the i pad building is rendered no way is it going o built on the beach its oretty much drawn over the burj al arab the 7 star hotel im gonna have to call fake on this one

You see, the problem with this is, that before this thing is even built, the "widescreen" video iPod will already be out, and just like how nobody has a "photo" iPod anymore (or will admit to), nobody will have a 5G iPod anymore. And in 5-7 years, iPods won't be 'cool' any longer because another company will come out with a product that is way better than that! It'll have to be torn down due to "blight". The architect should go back to coloring in a book.
