Omni-Directional Wheelchair Avoids Obstacles
This high-tech wheelchair basically "makes use of GPS co-ordinates to determine its location and has a sensors attached to its body for avoiding obstacles and to generate a route to move on." Video after the break.
Not much information is available about the robotic wheelchair for now. But it is a long time before it becomes a reality, and yes, Stephen Hawking has not ordered one yet.[via Newlaunches]
