PICTURES: Robot Acts Out Your Dreams (Video)
The "Sleep Walk" installation basically uses "recorded brainwave activity and eye movements during REM sleep to determine robot behaviors and head positions." Video after the break. Click here for one more picture.
Using an algorithm, the creators discovered a set of brainwave patterns, to each pattern a pre-programmed behavior was assigned. When a match is made with the EEG readout, Sleep Waking will carry out the designated action[via Gizmodo - Wmmna]
