Ken Kutaragi stated in a recent interview "that because of the power of the Cell processor and the RSX graphics chip, PlayStation 3 will use a custom cooling solution, with heat pipes".
We’re spending a lot on heat and electromagnetic interference (management). The power supply could almost be sold separately

With as crappy as the PS2 was, they had better sell replacement parts! I won't stand to have another of their systems break, leaving me only one option -- to buy a new one. PS2 was rediculous. My NES works better than my PS2!!!

...well when u break stuff urself stuff is bound to break...i had my PS2 for about 6 years be4 i replaced it because I..and let me empasize that I did it..other than that, even when it was in about 15 parts, it STILL worked. umm and if you knew anything about systems they'd never sell replacement parts cause then, duh, people have to tamper with the system and if thye fuck something up...sony doesnt want to be responsible, hence the security sticker on ur PS2...ya open it...it'll lose its warrenty...plus...did u not HAVE ur warrenty on ur PS2? if u, u diserved to have to buy a new 1.
