Road Test: Audi R8

One of our readers sent in this "top secret" clip of Audi's upcoming R8 being tested at the Nurburgring track in Germany. This supercar sports a 450hp V10 engine from the Lamborghini Gallardo. Video after the jump.

Wicked! Actually, about the engine is the other way around: It's the lamborghini gallardo that has the v10 engine from VW, also used by audis - S6 or S8. Cheers,

looks good, but sounds great! that's a throaty roar if ever there was one. That said, as far as looks go, I really hope that Peugeot create soemthing based on their concept 907: http://www.allsportauto.com/english/peugeot-907.php now this car is sexy!

Unfortunately Audi have already stated the LED headlamps will not feature on the production model. And these videos are nearly always leaked as "spy" shots by the manufacturer themselves to create interest. Not that they need to create any with a car as beautiful and well-appointed as this.

Dave Interesting topic... I'm working in this industry myself and I don't agree about this in 100%, but I added your page to my bookmarks and hope to see more interesting articles in the future
