Road Test: Porsche 911 Turbo

Fifth Gear tests the all new Porsche 911 Turbo (Type 997). This supercar boasts a turbocharged 3.5L boxer 6 that generates 480hp @ 6000rpm and 457 lb-ft @ 1950-5000 rpm -- rocketing it from 0-60 in just 3.7-seconds (Tiptronic S). Video after the jump.
The 911 Turbo with the optionally available Tiptronic S automatic transmission puts in an even more impressive performance. An optimized setup gives the vehicle the wherewithal to power from zero to one hundred in just 3.7 seconds and to reach 200 km/h after a mere 12.2 seconds

Speed is Only a Matter of Money... Since the first Mad Max I still never knew why anyone has to go that fast... Granted I like Fast Cars, but I have a Limit... Prolly due to the fact I wanna be able to wake up the next morning and see the sun shine...

well keith you can go fast if you have good car whit good handeling and good traktion maybe thats your problem ;) and whats the fun in live if you never take a risk. Now i know why i dont like 5th Gear. ITS BOORING to look at and he talks like he is from the car dealer. thats just the point that makes Top Gear so great No bulls*** from the Car company No just the way you want it to be heard. Maybe a car Can be realy good in handeling or what ever but its just that brand that makes its Sucks. just like the Ipod its not the best player but ITS AN IPOD. youl get the point. ;) dont like this porsche. rather have the Cayman S.
