That Nokia blog guy should keep this vid on the first page of his blog. He used to be a bit skeptical about Scoble, but Scoble just did his work for him.
The technological constraints they point out are all valid.
This is a pretty strong, if informal, endorsement of (existing) Nokia technology and an attack on current Apple technology and their vaporware.
The central point is critical, i.e. that Apple's iphone will sell because it's "cool" and not for any new or outstanding features.
I remember selling computers 20 years ago and teenagers would make their parents buy Apple computer's because they were "cool" even though other companies had better software and hardware. Apple has always maintained their brand.
Scoble's joke about the stock-backdating billionaire Jobs wearing those cool black turtle necks meaning a better-seeling product is spot on.

It was shot on the day of the Apple announcement and they nailed the problems with the phone. Particularly the business user comments. Who is the target customer for this beast?

Just because you say smartphone does not mean that it is a product for the business user. Apple is marketing this to the average phone user, who wants some of the features only available on a smartphone. Not everyone needs exchange server cause they only need access to their personal mail. I have a Pearl and don't use it for any business use, just like the features it offers over the average cellphone out there. Thats why I will be getting an iPhone cause it has the features of the pearl only better, and some extra features that I like.

Please...you guys are serious?!
This is all Microsoft can do?
Pay-post Ballmer freaking laugh and those 3 stooges trying to prove all the hype is non-sense?
Come on.
iPhone will change the phone industry forever.
It already changed.
When it hit the market there will be dozens of iPhone clones around.
This is obvious a device the average consumer wants.
The coolest iPod ever, that also make phone calls.
It will change the way you interact with your mobile devide forever.
200 patents from Apple! Can you imagine what it means?
The fat face proudly showing his Nokia brick is just pathetic.
And the little mouse-face looser said "you will be stucked to Apple software"...what he is talking about?
iPhone runs OSX.
There will be millions of widgets available and installing them will be a snap.
Get real.
This three stooges deserves Windows machines for the rest of their lifes.

Just wait for Apple to come out with the 2G and 3G iPhone it will have all that and more. It's called marketing. They just don't want to kill the whole phone industry at once they are going to do it slowly but surely.
And you know these GEEKS will have and iPhone in their back pocket, playing with it when no one is looking.
Blue Skies!!
