Samsung's Galaxy S8 may have just hit the shelves just months ago, but analysts say that the company has already started production of next year's flagship: the Galaxy S9. It will feature a 5.8" / 6.2" QHD+ Super AMOLED curved display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 (US) / Samsung Exynos (UK) processor, Cat 18 LTE support (1.2Gbps download speeds), a display embedded fingerprint scanner, dual rear-facing cameras, Bixby AI assistant with dedicated button, and USB-C connectivity. "With reports claiming that Samsung will start production of the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus this year, it's likely that the handsets will debut earlier in the year than the Galaxy S8, and hints that Samsung could be planning a launch at next year's MWC. This has been further fueled as the displays look set to arrive in November, which puts the final delivery date, based on previous timings, in January," reports The Inquirer.
