At £100,000 ($165,000 USD), Samsung’s new 110-inch UHD TV is now the world’s largest, packing four times as many pixels per inch as current high-definition sets. The company said that it has received ten orders from the Middle East already, though Chinese buyers are expected to snap up the largest portion of the sets. This new model dwarfs the size of the former largest Samsung U-HDTV, which measured 85″. Samsung has also replaced the previously-touted OLED technology, as these specially-treated LED bulbs were deemed to expensive for the huge screens, and both LG as well as Samsung have now embraced U-HDTV.
