Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD1 Reviewed

The Xacti VPC-HD1 is Sanyo's latest high-definition digital media camera, sporting a 2.2-inch LCD display and the ability to record 720p HD video/5.1-megapixel still images onto a standard SD memory card. It measures 3.1 x 4.7 x 1.4in and weighs in at 8.3 ounces. Here's the verdict:
The Sanyo VPC-HD1 is very expensive, and has lower photographic quality than a dedicated 5-megapixel still camera, however it is a unique product that offers features that can’t be found elsewhere. Build quality, handling and performance are good, and it is the closest thing yet to a successful hybrid still/video camera

It's a beautiful piece of high tech cam and it certainly shows the trend.
