This is a great idea, unfortunately it looks extremely too slow to be taken seriously by real extreme boarders.

They tried so hard to make it look like it is moving so fast.
Put a NOS shot kit on it and I'll be first in line.

6 horsepower my ass!!! I could push that thing faster than the engine does! Fuck that, this piece of shit will hit the market at 1000 dollars too. Can it even go uphill with a 180 pound rider? HA. I bet the thing stops in its tracks whenever it hits a frickin 4% incline.

Guys,
Appreciate all the comments ... even the ones slamming us! Soundsl like there could be some test pilots in this group?
It's a prototype. The production version will do over 35mph, hoping for 50mph.
It will go uphill ... :-)
It is being fully engineered to make sure that if you want to be scared, you will be. The guys doing the engineering make engines and components for racing cars ... they know how to make things go fast and not break easily.
I should say though that 80cc gokart engine in it can push 220lb (cart and rider) 60mph and is in there because it was a low cost way to build the prototype. It's about efficiency in the driveline and the power to weight ratio, not the engine size.
Please visit our website if you'd like more info www.scarpar.com and if you'd like to be kept in the loop put your name on our contact list ... promise not to spam you.
Thanks for your interest.
Regards

Well the one being shown is suitable for kids, I see that now. The one that you are talking about will be totally awesome!! Anything over 35 mph scares me, especially that low to the ground. I used to have a goped, souped up and everything, and it only went 25 mph. This is sounding a lot better now. Hopefully the price isn't too much.

That's great stuff. Think it will conquer the world in no time. I was laughing about the scooters but this is too cool. I want one.
How far can you go with it?

Lady on the Bus
A lady about eight months pregnant got on a bus; she noticed the man opposite to her was smiling at her so she immediately moved to another seat.
This time the smile turned into a grin, so she moved again.
The man seemed more amused.
When on the fourth move, the man burst out laughing,
she complained to the driver and he had the man arrested.
The case came up in court. The judge asked the man what he had to say for himself.
The man replied, "Well your Honor, it was like this:
When the lady got on the bus, I couldn't help but notice her condition.
She sat under a sign that said, "The Double Mint Twins are coming" and I grinned.
Then she moved and sat under a sign that said,
"Slogan's Liniment will reduce the swelling" and I had to smile.
Then she placed herself under a sign that said,
"William's Big Stick Did the Trick" and I could hardly contain myself. ...
BUT your Honor, when she moved the fourth time and sat under a sign that said,
"Goodyear Rubber could have prevented this Accident... " I just lost it."
