Scythe's Watercooled CPU Fan/Cooler

Scythe Japan has just unveiled the "Silver Knight", a watercooled CPU fan/cooler that boasts an 8mm copper pipe for water circulation (5.7L/h), radiator, pump, and a 92mm fan. It's compatible with all LGA 775 and Socket 745/939/940 motherboards. This device measures 130 x 126.5 x 165mm and weighs a hefty 960g. Available mid-July in Japan, priced at $52USD. [via Scythe]

compaired to the little base for the actual chip, this thing loooks gimongous.

What a waste of brainpower. This will in no way improve performance. Possibly hinder it even. And for the same price you can get a good air cooling solution that will undoubtedly outperform it. The comp box will get so hot inside that any water inside it has no chance of cooling off as it runs through it's puny radiator. So the water will just get hot, stay hot, and make the heatpipes/heatsinks hotter. But hey, it looks neat!
