Section 2 of New York's famed High Line Park "doubles the length to a mile (1.6 km) between Gansevoort Street to West 30th Street, connecting the Meatpacking District, West Chelsea and Midtown West." Click here for the first picture in gallery. Continue reading for a video.

...the High Line is a city park built on a chunk of elevated railroad. New York has invested $115 million on the project but it is being credited with producing an estimated $2 billion in private investment in the surrounding West Chelsea area, plus 8,000 construction jobs.
