Eagle Eye Drone

Designed by Francois Baptista and Stephane Pietroiusti from France, the solar-powered Eagle Eye drone features a slew of cameras, sensors and an integrated artificial intelligence system to scan the topology below, aiding wilderness teams in any rescue missions. “Nature is always in movement, vegetation is growing, trees are falling, rains changes the tracks, temperature fluctuates. That’s why it is needed to refresh all data as often as possible, to define the best strategies to always be faster for rescuers to save lives or extinguish the flames,” said the designers. “Solar powered pylons keep the drone recharged so that it can work autonomously, scanning the ground daily to map track changes due to rain, falling trees that block paths, and the overall growth of vegetation in the area. This way, rescuers are always aware of the best routes and familiar with the territory in order to make the most effective rescues,” reports Yanko Design.
