Sony Laptops Most Reliable?

According to this Consumer Reports chart, Sony and Lenovo laptops needed the least amount of repairs in a one-year (?) time period, while Gateway comes in last, with a 19% repair rate. What are your thoughts? Personally, out of all the notebooks I've owned, HP has been the most reliable -- no major issues in 4-years. Here's what The Consumerist has to say:
As you can see, Apple is in the middle, with Sony as the most reliable and Gateway the least. Surprisingly, on average, 17% of Apple laptops require serious repair

Not sure the point of this graph should be Sony notebooks are the most reliable, but rather they all have just about the same repair rate. The OP makes no mention about the timespan of repairs, nor the cost/what kind of repairs were required. I would take this with a grain of salt and not base your purchase decision on a statistical dead-heat of a chart.

"The OP makes no mention about the timespan of repairs, nor the cost/what kind of repairs were required" it's serious repair, in a year.

Wth? Lenovos (IBM) are pure utter crap... of course they don't need to get repaired... once something fails... well they're dead...

I think Toshiba is the worst of all. So many problems in such a short period of time, you think those who produced it are amateurs.
