Sony's new MotionPortrait technology is capable of taking 2D head shots and converting them into 3D faces, which "can then be animated semi-realistically using standard computer graphics." Video after the break.
In fact, we wouldn't be surprised to find this tech in a CyberShot point-and-shoot in a few years out. Innocent enough until you see how it's demonstrated.[via Engadget]
