Smartphones with slide-out keypads are nothing new, but there hasn’t really been a phone / game console in a while, ever since the doomed Nokia N-Gage. However, the Sony Shadow could change that if…it ever becomes an actual device. Featuring a 1.0mm-thick 5.5″ full color with Corning Gorilla Glass, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 processor, 6GB of RAM, Android 7.0 OS, a 16.0-megapixel camera with flash, 8-megapixel front-facing camera, and dual front-facing stereo speakers. “Utilizing Royole’s ultra-thin .o1mm full color display, the design features dual screens with the primary one measuring in at 5.5″ edge-to-edge. The second display is touch-sensitive and can be used interchangeably as a gaming control or keyboard. The only buttons you’ll find are power and volume conveniently located on the side frame,” according to Yanko Design.
