Sony's New Walkman

T3 reports that Sony has reinvented the walkman to compete with the upcoming iPod Nano. This new walkman will be released in 6GB and 20GB models with both the display and case, color matched. No word yet on pricing or availability.
Sony has also revealed that its new Walkman will equip you with more flexibility and the ability to find music faster and easier than ever before. See, because as well as being able to search songs via the usual categories, it also enables you to look-up tunes by release date and most-recently-transferred tracks. Plus, it features a 'My Favourite Shuffle' function that automatically selects the 100 songs you listen to most and plays them randomly. And there's a 'Time Machine Shuffle' mode which randomly selects a year and plays all the songs from that year.
