The Space Shuttle Enterprise made its way over New York yesterday while traveling to its destination at the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum. If you’re unfamiliar with this spacecraft, it was “NASA’s first space shuttle [and] used in the late 1970s to conduct a series of atmospheric test flights, which proved that the shuttles could safely glide back to Earth without engines.” Click here to view this gallery’s first image.
