Stair-Climbing Switchblade Robot
Engineers at UCSD have created Switchblade, a robot that uses "the same basic principle of movable mass to climb and balance, except it does the obvious thing and alters its center of gravity by locating its battery packs out on a rotating boom." Continue reading for the video.
