The Department of Defense Department has partnered with New Zealand-based Malloy Aeronautics to create a Star Wars-inspired hoverbike. Officially called the Joint Tactical Aerial Resupply Vehicle (JTARV), it features four standard helicopter-style rotors, overlapped with each other, and is powered by a motorcycle engine. “Anywhere on the battlefield, Soldiers can potentially get resupplied in less than 30 minutes.
