Strange, Dangerous Snow Pod Racer
At first glance, this may look like a space ship, but it's actually a snow pod racer aka "Slegoon". Its "roll cage, such as it is, protects the rider and doubles as extra runners should the sledding device flip over mid-run." Click here for one more picture.
I want to careen down snow covered slopes, and I want somebody beside me when I do it! Slegoon won the first prize in the UK IOM3 Design Contest, and are now in production.[via Gizmodo - Trendhunter]
