Ok, we've seen strange "Zune" ads before -- Monster and Pixel Dancers -- but definitely nothing like this one, titled "Eyes". What are your thoughts? Video after the jump.

ive seen that before. i dont think its a zune commercial. either that or they bought the rights and made it into one.
I think the same company that did that crazy japan drummer video thing did it. the japan drummer one where the lil kid thingies use their heads to hit drums and its synchro.

Not trying to defend Microsoft here but the message is clear in all these "strange" zune adverts; it's just conveyed artistically. The message is "sharing" - or "caring is sharing" - the whole idea of zune is to build a community around music using their pmps - and these adverts all illustrate how "fun" sharing is in a weird way. I think they're really cool to watch. Stop badmouthing microsoft. No one dissed Sony when they showed that really screwed up PS3 ad (with the baby, which I also really loved).

In agreement of the new zune sharing capabilities, might i mention the 3 and 3 rule, 3 plays, or 3 days, thats how long you keep a song, windows is really hitting hard down on pirates

The ad is bizarre, disgusting, enigmatic, and absurd. To that end, the ad mirrors the mindset of Microsoft perfectly. "We're Microsoft and we're revolting and repulsive freaks of nature."

This is the WEIRDEST commercial ever I believe.
are they gone mad?
and btw, all the last commercials had something to do with sharing, but Aaron here says that they have a 3 and 3 rule, it's kinda kills the "sharing" idea, doesn't?

i know why companies do the weird ad thing... its because if something is so odd, you'll remember the company and the company name. Its basically subliminal advertising
