The Ultimate XBox?

One of our readers just sent in this clip of a heavily modified XBox console. This monster includes a "120GB HDD, Xecuter 3 CE chip, latest BIOS, front control panel(LCD/USB/Pro Switch), lava decal kit, LEDs, 2-inch neon tubes(7 color and beat to music), cold cathodes, lighted controller ports, bright red eject LED, and an ATA166 HDD cable". Dashboards/Operating Systems: X3 Dash, EvoX, RemoteX, XBMC, UnleashX, Avalaunch, Linux(workin on it) and MS Dash

Except for a good Hard Drive, a good ModChip and the Latest BIOS the rest is tottaly useless... Why spend all the money so your Xbox looks like a freakin Carnival in Rio de Janeiro? When Im playing with my Xbox at home I like the lights out so I can focus on the game... I couldnt play with all that! And I think its pointless to f*ck up the looks of the Xbox which I think is pretty darn pretty the way it is... But hey! Thats not my money so if he wants to make his Xbox looks like a computer from a low-budget-sci-fi-movie be my guest!

Mr. Wednesday, if you dont have that much concentration to play a game then your not a real gamer. You have to be able to play when things happen. It's just a shame that your complaining about something like that when you dont have one like that and you can work with it.

In the xbox modding world, this is nothing special. blackboxes like this are far from few and far between.

This is nothing special... My Xbox is allot better. It has a Hard drive extender where I can put two other hard drive. My body is clear with a red tint in it with allot of LEDs and neons. Not one, not two but three LCD screens and allot of other stuff...

Total C**P, I kept the blackbox on my second xBox but was weak and got a space decal but any more is pointess, an LCD is tempting for the gadget freak in all of us but really no point, as previous post says 'Is only to play games on'. This guy only has a 120gig in there, I started with a 180 but moved onto a 250, it's nice if you move around with it and want movies and episodes to hand and the amount of games you can 'backup' is just awesome (I've got 50-60 movies, bunch of Lost eps :) and 40 ish games of variying size) but with the XBMC you can access Windows shared folders over your home network turning your xbox into a MediaCenterPC without the TV record function (what bittorent and rss feeds were made for :) ). hmmmmm would a 400gig be too far? maybe but that light show that guy made IS. rant over. SPIDERCHIP RULE WWHHOOOOO

All of you guys are just hating on this guys creativity so what if he wants his xbox too look like that i think its preety flipping rad ide want mine to do all that stuff u guys need to gt out more and get a life haha

So if you all have these "awesome" xboxes, why don't you stuff your balls in your mouth and post a picture. In the meantime, I will go install linux on my ps3. Fck xbox.
