RK5000 Excavator

There’s heavy machinery you see everyday at construction sites, and then the RK5000, a colossal bucket-chain excavator used mainly in strip mining operations. This machine weighs thousands of tons and dwarf many buildings. Since they’re so large, it comes equipped with crawlers to traverse the terrain, while others move on rails. The RK5000 was most recently spotted at a lignite mine in the Czech Republic, and moved from the mine itself into a parking space above.
