Tsuneaki Hiramatsu, a talented photographer living in Okayama, Japan, spent the last few years in the country’s forests to capture the flight paths of fireflies at night. To create these fantasy world-like images, he takes a series of 8-second long exposure photographs, and then digitally merges them together.
