These are not optical illusions, just mind-bending 3D projection mappings by artist Miguel Chevalier. They were projected inside King’s College Chapel, fusing contemporary imagery with 16th-century Gothic English architecture. Everything was generated in real-time and illustrated the topics being discussed, including health, Africa, biology, along with physics. The coolest part? When Stephen Hawking’s speech on black holes was brought up, as it was paired with thousands of constellations that transported the room into deep space.
