It wasn't until 2005 that Valerii began to research watchmaking. Three years later, he completed his first functional wooden pocket watch.
Since then he has completed a series of functional wooden wristwatches, wall clocks (with pendulums) and table clocks. All are made entirely out of wood with the sole exception of a metal spring needed to propel movement.
