Frozen Hair Contest

Takhini Hot Springs, located in Canada’s Yukon territory, is known for its annual International Hair Freezing Contest, held every year during the month of February. To have a shot at the $150 prize, entrants are required to dunk their heads in the 40° C hot springs, wait a few seconds for the -30° C air to freeze their hair, take a snapshot, and then post to their Facebook page.
