Unlike this Norwegian prison, Het Arresthuis is a real luxury hotel. There's one catch, it first opened in 1862 as a prison, but closed down for good in 2007. Now, it's been transformed into a luxurious hotel, one where guests actually pay big money to spend at least a night in one of the old holding cells. This hotel features 40 deluxe rooms - 24 standard rooms, 12 deluxe rooms, and four suites - all of which feature modern furnishings and amenities. They include: air conditioning, a flat screen TV, free WiFi, and even a personal coffee / tea machine. That's not all, the hotel also offers a sauna, a fitness center, a central patio with olive trees, and an organic herb garden.
