While it may first appear to be an optical illusion of sorts, the “Magic Phone Stand” actually uses a simple mechanism to make it seem like your device is levitating in mid-air. It utilizes a special cable that actually forms a rigid coil, capable of supporting your phone via its micro-USB, Lighning or 30-pin charging port. According to the company, they’ve successfully kept a Samsung Galaxy S4 aloft, but recommend additional support for something heavier, like a Galaxy Note 3.
