This isn’t a prop from an upcoming science fiction movie, just the world’s first 3D-printed stainless steel bridge by Dutch company MX3D. What made it all possible? Well, it took the company four robots, almost 10,000-pounds of stainless steel, 684-miles of wire, and 6-months of printing. It was designed by Joris Laarman Lab, and measures approximately 41 feet by 20 feet, fabricated from a new kind of steel, as 3D-printing created a ribbed surface since robots added layers upon layers.
