Tiny Plen Robot

Standing just 0.75 ft tall, the Plen robot is powered by a 32bit ARM7 CPU @ 33MHz, has 18 movable joints, a USB RS-232C interface, and Bluetooth support. It weighs 700g and is available now in Japan at the price of $2,206. Video clip after the jump.
It manages to do it all with amazing smoothness and grace. Not only can this robot roller skate, it can even pick it self up when it falls down, and it roller skates just as easily backwards as forwards.

I wouldn't say it moves around with amazing smoothness and grace, but it is funny. $2,206 tho!? It better walk itself around for that much.

for that kind of cash i don't think I want to ever have to pick it up and put it into place. and he better plug himself into the wall for charging too. Other than that it has great personality, very amusing to watch.
