Top 5 Strangest PSP/DS Mods

Our editors have compiled a list of the "Top 5 Strangest (or Coolest) PSP/DS Mods" for your enjoyment. Which ones are your favorites? (Thanks, Zipped)

5. CollecTic - Interactive PSP Game

Though not really a mod, this homebrew game is quite interesting none the less. Jonas Hielscher has developed an interactive PSP game called "CollecTic", which basically "has you running around outside trying to collect WLAN access points with your portable".
Each point is given a distinct color, geometric shape and sound based on its particular MAC address. The size of the point is determined by how strong the signal is. The object of the game is to fill your three-by-three grid with shapes, finishing with three in a row

1. Nintendo DS Robot

[...] So, I saw a few articles that I thought were interesting. The first is an article on an interactive cooking application for the DS! Apparently, the cookbook was a success in Japan. I also enjoyed this article on the top five strangest DS or PSP mods! Unfortunately, I’ve forgotten where I originally saw the link to the article on the mods, but there’s the article itself. I also saw an article on the Horde/Alliance ratio in World of Warcraft. Then there’s this post at Kotaku criticizing an editorial on teen pregnancy that fails to mention contraception or sex education, but does blame video gaming (among other inappropriate scapegoats) for teen pregnancy. I also enjoyed this clip from the Daily Show that mocks Christian video game Left Behind for hypocrisy and violence. And lastly, there’s a descriptive article at Terra Nova on the various types of realism in games. Those are a few links I saw that were interesting! [...]
