Tornadoes are common to some parts of the US, but most certainly not Los Angeles and its surrounding areas. At 12:30pm PST, The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning "because of a fast-moving thunderstorm -- one issued slightly after 1 was continued until 2 p.m.in Orange County."
