Toyota Cue Basketball Robot

The Toyota Engineering Society has built a humanoid robot designed to shoot a basketball, and much better than even some professional players. How? It uses artificial intelligence to learn from players on the Japanese B League team Alvark Tokyo and then perfect its shot to nearly 100-percent accuracy at short distances, like the free throw line.
