Researchers at Michigan State University have developed a crystal clear solar concentrator that can be utilized on anything with a clear surface, whether it be a window in your house or the screen on your smartphone, to gather energy without blocking the view. Once the solar energy is absorbed, the light waves get trapped and guided to the edges of the plastic solar concentrator where photovoltaic cells turn them into electricity.
