Tsukomo N170J-Series Notebooks

Tsukomo Japan has just announced a new line of budget notebooks, the 301S (Core Solo) and 401D (Core Duo). The basic configuration includes either an Intel Core Solo T3100 (1.66-GHz) or Core Duo T2300E (1.66-GHz) processor, 256MB/512MB of memory, 40GB/60GB HDD, and a DVD Super Multi drive (401D only). External interfaces include four USB 2.0 ports, a FireWire port, 3-in-1 memory card reader, and a Type 2 PC card slot. Both models go on sale June 23rd in Japan with prices starting at $882.
