NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory has just released a new virtual Mars visit videothat shows an unreleased Microsoft HoloLens headset, possibly the HoloLens 2, featuring a redesigned visor, single adjustable band, and a slightly concealed Kinect sensor that isn’t as visible at the front. The company is currently working on a second-generation HoloLens headset, codenamed Sydney. Continue reading for another video and more information.

“The new headset will be powered by an ARM-based processor, and include the latest generation of the Kinect sensor, and a custom AI chip to improve performance. Microsoft is currently targeting a HoloLens 2 release date for 2019,” according to The Verge.
