Vertu Ascent: Racetrack Legends Series

Vertu - known for their luxury mobile phones - has just unveiled a new "Racetrack Legends Series", in celebration of classic racetracks from around the world. All six models are individually serial numbered to 1000 -- the first two released being Monza and Silverstone. They boast a high-resolution Sapphire Crytsal display, stainless steel keys, Bluetooth, and a 20mm hands-free loudspeaker. Available now through select retailers worldwide. Expect to shell out $5,700 for one of these gems. [Vertu via YankoDesign]

Available now... Pricing not yet confirmed? Do people just hand over $3000 and say give me the change when you figure out a price? Not sure how that works.

Whoandwhy: It just means the product is available but the price has not been confirmed by Tech|E|Blog. They updated it recently @ $5700. Anyway, the phone is wicked awesome, and a total waste of cash. And it doesn't even have crime deterrent.
