Edmunds takes the 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STi out for a full road test in this segment. This updated model sports a turbocharged 2.5L flat-4 engine that produces 305hp @ 6000rpm and 290 lb-ft torque @ 4000rpm, rocketing the car to 60mph in just 4.8-seconds. Video after the break. It's worth it. The 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STI performs better than the outgoing car in most performance tests and feels better on the road. It also happens to have a more useful and functional interior with space to haul stuff while you haul butt
