(Video) A-Bike

At just 12-pounds, Sinclair's A-Bike is the world's lightest folding bike and can be folded or unfolded in just 10-seconds. Video demonstration after the jump.
Despite the tiny wheels, the bike can achieve normal speeds without forcing you to pedal like a madman. The completely enclosed chain system means that your pants cuffs won't have the telltale grease marks of a bicycle commuter, also

I wouldnt ride that thing it looks so stupid. Plus it looks like it has the front wheels of a wheelchair.

I'm an avid rider, what the hell happens when you hit a crack? it's hard enough with 24 inch wheels!!! Can anyone say cracked skull? Side note; I still want one!

Looks difficult to ride, if it was easy, fast and manuverable, then I would consider it. It would be nice to be able to take it on the train for my daily commute.

Of course it looks stupid. Most radical innovations have to be. Why? Because they have to go so far out of the box in order to acheive their objectives. This thing looks fantastic! Obviously they've made one heck of a light, compact, and practical vehicle. Eventually they'll hire a designer who can make it look more appealing to the eye.

At first, I thought, hey cool, I want this, I need a new bike. But then it hit me. WTF would I carry around a heavy bike for in the first place when I can ride it instead.

i am sure you can't go very fast on it considering the wheels are so small even... i have hit 45 mph on my speed bike

It looks awesome. I wonder what the wheels feel like. and the shocks should be very good. but the price. if i could afford it, i would buy it, would help so much at college.

If you are gonna go through the pains of making a folding bike, with custom wheels... Why not make full size wheels that fold into 1/4s.... I mean... It isn't like locking hinged wheels with 1 wide spoke each would be impossible to make...

This is basically the lovechild of a Razor scooter and a bicycle. Seems practical and easy to use, but it just won't catch on.

how much is it? Looks cool, bigger folding wheels would be a plus....are the tires pressurized? Anyway its good for those who live in a walk up apartment....if you have a garage then its not practical

WoW, Great Bike, For someone who's name is Bozo and works at the Circus. Tiny Tires Equals Big Pain in my knees from falling down everytime I run over a bad peice of pavement. Super Size it Please.
